Extraction System
Extraction of the ion beam from ORIC is accomplished by a series of three electrostatic and magnetic components:
 
  • An electrostatic deflector
  • A coaxial magnetic channel
  • An iron-compensated lower magnetic channel


Each of these three components of the ORIC extraction system can be viewed by clicking on the picture to the left.
