The Accelerator Systems Group is responsible for stewardship of the ORNL 25 MV Tandem accelerator
and for deactivation and decommissioning of the former Holifield
Radioactive Ion Beam facility (HRIBF)

Maintain the ORNL Tandem accelerator and mass separator systems
Operate the ORNL Tandem accelerator in a safe, cost-effective manner for customers on a full cost recovery basis
