Recent Results from the Canadian Penning Trap Mass Spectrometer at the Argonne National Laboratory

Kumar Sharma, University of Manitoba
Bldg. 6008 Conference Room

The Canadian Penning Trap (CPT) mass spectrometer, online to the ATLAS facility at ANL, has been used to obtain the masses of unstable nuclides. Our measurements are aimed at the determination of masses and Q-values that are of interest in studies of nucleosynthesis (r-process and rp-process) and of use in tests of symmetries in fundamental interactions. A summary of our the recent results and the ongoing additions and improvements to the spectrometer will be presented.
