Overview of the James Webb Space Telescope

The Hubble Space Telescope is primarily an ultraviolet and visible light observatory. The James Webb Space Telescope is scheduled to be launched in 2011, and will extend the Hubble Telescope's science program into the mid-infrared region. This talk will provide an overview of the James Webb Space Telescope and its detector systems.
