Physics Division Seminars bring us speakers on a variety of physics related subjects. Usually these are held in the Building 6008 large Conference Room, at 3:00 pm on the chosen day, but times and locations may vary. For more information, contact our seminar chairman,

Oscillation of the neutron (n) into mirror neutron (n'), its mass degenerate twin from a parallel dark world, can be a rather fast process, faster than the neutron decay itself – in contrast to the neutron-antineutron oscillation which characteristic time is experimentally limited from below by several years. I will discuss phenomenological and astrophysical implications of n-n' oscillation, the recent experimental status, and possible future experiments for its search.
