Gamma-ray systems used for nuclear structure research and imaging applications

Paul Nolan, University of Liverpool
Building 6008 Conference Room

High resolution gamma-ray detectors have developed in recent years so that now position sensitivity at the mm level is possible. The talk will cover development of coaxial and planar detectors for AGATA and imaging applications. Some examples of the use of germanium detector arrays for nuclear structure research will also be covered.
