First Neutrino Oscillation Results from the MiniBooNE Experiment

Richard G. Van de Water, Los Alamos National Laboratory
Building 4500N, Weinberg Auditorium

The MiniBooNE neutrino oscillation experiment has been operating since September 1, 2002. It was built to test the two-neutrino oscillation hypothesis for excess electron anti-neutrinos seen by the LSND experiment. This talk will present the first results from MiniBooNE on the appearance of electron neutrinos from a muon neutrino beam.
