Tropical Cyclones: A Retired Meteorologist's Perspective

An informal presentation will be given discussing tropical cyclone climatology, genesis, structure, and dynamics. Also included will be a discussion of the history and future of their forecasting of track and intensity. The presentation will conclude with slides of their destructive effects at landfall.
