Giant Resonance Research
Members of the Reaction Spectroscopy group perform research on giant resonances in nuclei, primarily isovector electric resonances. The tools we use are varied, but often include high-energy Coulomb excitation and detection of the decays using a large array of BaF2 scintillation detectors. For more information, contact J.R.
