The HRIBF Program Advisory Committee met at the HRIBF in Oak Ridge on February 12, 1999. Two hundred seventy-six eight-hour shifts of beam with radioactive arsenic, fluorine, nickel, and beryllium, and 250 shifts of beam with stable ions were requested. One hundred two shifts of radioactive ion beams (RIBs) and 131 shifts of stable beams (SIBs) were assigned to the eleven proposals that were accepted. The attached table summarizes the experimental projects accepted.
RIB-042 - Identification and Decay Study of a New Isotope 125Nd Produced with a 69As Radioactive Beam
RIB-043 - Proposal to Measure the 17F(p,g)18Ne Resonant Cross Section
RIB-044 - Hot CNO Breakout: Proposal to Measure Single Nucleon Transfers to 18F
RIB-045 - Identification of the Decay of the Tz=+1/2 Nucleus 113Ba
RIB-046 - Beta Decay Half-life of 84Mo
RIB-047 - Single-particle Transfer Reactions in Inverse Kinematics
RIB-048 - Study of the 71Kr/71Br Mirror Pair
RIB-049 - Proposal to Measure the 1H(7Be,8B) Reaction
