4.2 Parallel Example

 

Here, we use the concept identified by Martin and Brown [2] of the event step, where particles are traced from physical event to physical event, independent of time. For our simple problem, only 3 steps are necessary per physical event. The details for the following example were taken from an actual Monte Carlo simulation and are not contrived.
