QM09 Conference, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, March 29/30 - April 4, 2009

Conference Events

More info to be added as it becomes available.

Note that the Carousel theatre has a seating capacity of 400, which is the reason why the play will be offered on both Tue and Thu, and the conference participants can chose which evening they prefer. We have significantly more tickets for Tue, so hope most participants will prefer that day.

Sunday, March 29, Welcome Reception, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Registration opened at 8:00 a.m. (before Student Day start)
Monday, March 30, Career Forum, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The RHIC/AGS Users Executive Committee, in collaboration with the Quark Matter Local Organizing Committee, will host a discussion on career advancement for young physicists. Information will also be given about websites where job seekers can see postings by prospective employers. All students and post docs are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
